The first wave.
One full day. Thirteen hours by the Atlantic. Slow morning to open — yoga with Pari, a workshop for curious women with Hanna Honti. Then From Fear to Freedom hosted by Progress Surf School, three talks across three hours with Joana Andrade. Vinyl from afternoon to night with Planet Caravan, Vaasco, I Like Disco and Raregems closing. Mr Bongo brings the vinyl market. Samy de Moraes on flash tattoo. Vintage market, art exhibition, pool, café by Cave, food by Senses. The first wave of the second tide.
The manifest.
We don't follow. We press.
Carduma is a cultural collective and event producer based in Ericeira, Portugal. Europe's only World Surfing Reserve. A place where the Atlantic carves its rhythm into stone and the longest sun of the year opens a season of analog culture.
We unite music, art, and community to build authentic experiences far from the predictable festival circuit. Inspired by the synchrony of a Carduma, we believe in the power of collective movement.
This is slow, intentional, curated. Refined curation. Free atmosphere. Deeply rooted in nature. One full day where vinyl spins long, the markets fill the garden, the art lives on the walls, and the conversations forget the time.
On the summer solstice, when the days are longest, Ericeira becomes the epicenter of a movement that resonates far beyond its waves. The Carduma returns to its waters.

How big is the festival?
Carduma Festival 2026 is intentionally small. The first wave of the second tide. Capacity is limited to preserve the intimate, immersive atmosphere. A festival you join, not just watch.
How do I get to Ericeira?
Ericeira is around 50 minutes from Lisbon by car. Local buses run from Lisbon's Campo Grande terminal. From the venue, everything in Ericeira is walkable. Ridesharing apps (Uber, Bolt) operate in the area.
Where should I stay?
Ericeira has plenty of accommodation, from surf hostels to boutique hotels and short-term rentals. Book early. The solstice weekend is high season. We'll share recommended partners as the festival gets closer.
What's included in the ticket?
One full day of music, art, talks, vinyl and vintage markets, curated bar and gastronomy. Food, drinks, café (by Cave) and flash tattoo (with our resident artist) are sold separately on site. The surf talk and all music sets are open to all ticket holders, no booking needed.
What about sustainability?
The 2026 edition will be powered by clean energy. We're working with sustainability-focused partners to make Carduma Festival as low-impact as the ocean culture it celebrates.
How can my brand partner with Carduma?
We work with a curated, intentional partner mix. Never a logo soup. If your brand fits the Carduma universe, write to us at cardumacoletivo@gmail.com and we'll send our partnership deck.
First
wave.
